Best Christmas Present Ever!

I was seriously having my doubts about this baby's existence. Mostly I was in denial about actually being pregnant. We showed up to the ultrasound really early since last time I was late and well, it just wasn't a good situation.

I drank way more water than I should have (you need a full bladder for an ultrasound) and I thought I was going to seriously pee myself.

My ultrasound technician was really nice. I asked about finding out the sex, and she said she doesn't like doing that this early. As soon as I saw lil jelly bean up on that screen I was in love! They were just resting there peacefully waving its little arms and legs at us. The ultrasound tech said baby is measuring at 13 weeks and 1 day (by my last menstrual period I would be 12 weeks and 3 days). Which I guess explains why I seemed to have popped so early.

Baby's heart beat was 150 bpm. Which was perfect. We saw its little brain, its heart, tummy, and little bladder. (The fact that the stomach was actually in the baby not the umbilical cord confirms that I'm 13 weeks.)
