16 Weeks

So baby is now the size of an alligator pear :3
tooo cute!

So not too much is new. Baby is still tapping away in there, some days I feel him/her more often than others. Probably because baby is so small still. I can't believe though that it seemed just a few weeks ago that I found out I was pregnant and baby was only the size of a poppy seed, and now s/he is an avocado!

I started tracking my intake using the weight watchers program. I eat more points than you would on maintenance, but its mostly to ensure I'm eating healthier and not over-doing it. I've gained a lot of weight in my first trimester, and I would like to only gain a total of 35-40 lbs at most at this point. I'm also trying to cut back the amount of soda I'm drinking, but it's hard since I get caffeine withdraw migraines.


Lately I've been emotional again. Crying at the silliest things at the drop of a hat. I've been very stressed out too. It makes me sad that this winter break seems to be flying by so fast. I'm not sure I'm ready to go back to school. Its almost scary to think I'm almost done with school.

Anyways, some good news, I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I will be making my appointment for the 20 week anatomy scan, which will probably be for the first or second week in February. So close to finding out what to call baby! I'm still with team pink, but you never know. It could be a boy. At this point I will be happy either way.

I will probably update with a bump picture every other week from now on, so next week there will be a new picture.
