Way over due post!!!

So... tons to update on I guess... first off... it's a BOY!!!

I was so shocked when I found out. I was seriously thinking we were having a girl. So we are having a little baby Lucas Gray! I am so in love with him already!

Okay, so last Monday, a classmate of mine told me that her friend in sonography needed a patient for class. I obviously volunteered, I mean who would turn down a free ultrasound. I called Josh to see if it was okay to find out the sex early. I mean, I couldn't just not know!!! So unfortunately baby was not being cooperative at that ultrasound with letting us get a good profile picture, but they were able to get a good peak between the legs and tell us that it was a boy.

I will admit, my heart sank a little, I was so convinced we were having a girl that I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bummed at first.

By that Wednesday we were getting slowly more and more used to the idea of a little boy, but I had to have them confirm it for me, since I was still in a bit of a shock. As you can see we got a beautiful 3D shot of little Lucas. I can just tell he will be a cutie for sure! At first he wasn't cooperating and was hiding his face by putting up both arms, but we had an awesome tech who was patient and went back later to see if she could get some better pictures for us.

I of course had to splurge a little on my baby boy...

Here are some cute Star Wars themed stuff... :3

and some cute rocker boy outfits for when he's bigger...

I apparently really like gray and lime green for colors...

and some more cute onsies <3

So I've been having a lot of cramping, I'm starting to think they are braxton hicks, which are super annoying. Sleeping comfortably has become a rarity, and is truly an art I have yet to master.

I am currently 21 weeks and 5 days, so I will be 22 weeks on Tuesday. I will most likely take a belly shot and do a decent update for week 22.

Today Josh and I ran some errands. We went to the mall, and apparently Borders is closing, so I bought a What To Expect- The First Year book, and another book on breast feeding. We also went and updated some stuff on our registry, it was hilarious, I'm still trying to figure out who decided we should be parents. Just trying to figure out the strollers was a mess.

I just wanted to say, how annoying it is to me how often people tell me I have to breast feed my child. Okay, I know all the reasons why I should, there is no need for the lecture, thanks! Especially my midwife... it's getting annoying, every appointment I get asked about it, and every appointment my answer is the same, I wish they would just write it in my chart "plans to breast feed". K, thanks! Even after I say I do plan on it, I still get the lecture as if I had just answered no. Seriously, my titties, not yours, stop talking about them like you know what's best for them.

Anyways... here is our registry... it's going to need some updating, since I think I had some girly stuff from before I knew baby was a boy. My mom is planning to do a shower for me in April.
